2003 RX1 mountain
Hi, I have scowered the forum regarding clutch set ups but still have a clutch question. I have a 2003 rx1 mnt with 10000km. The clutch engages at about 4800rpm. This seems way to high for me. The primary spring is orange pink orange and it has 15mm rollers and stock looking weights. I have ordered a soft start clutch spring from bop hoping it will lower engagement to about 2800. My question is am I missing something? Forum wisdom would indicate that opo spring should engage lower than 4800. Thanks for your time and expertise

If knowone has serviced the clutch at 10,000 miles your clutch is probably in need of a bit of attention. I would at least look at all the bushings even the ones in the rollers, the plastic guides etc. Anything that moves.
Same goes with secondary, bushings, plastic buttons etc.
Otherwise your throwing parts at it
