I read on Hardcore someone got an upgrade kit for the rear suspention after complaining to their deeler. For free. I spoke to my dealer last fall about my sled drooping very low despite having the tortion springs set on the bigest side of the triangle. He said there was a "racerkit" which had stronger tortion springs, shock coil springs, and some other stuff and he'd let me have it at his cost of about 600US. Is this the upgrade? Or is there another upgrade? anyone with solutions? I've allready bought an aftermarket tortionspring block that has four sides the fourth being Overload. that's where it's set now and still sags a bit. I'm 160lbs dressed, wet, with a pack. I don't think I'm overloading it. I don't jump other than YeHaas going over bumps and stuff, so I didn't kill it. Not a big deal but curious if there is an upgrade. The fizzer is the best!! all my friends and I lov it and they hate me at the pump!! HAHA

check the shaft that the inner boggie wheels are on. if it is bent ull get alot of sag. only a 1/8th bend will multiply into 2-3 inches or more of sag by the time it gets to the rest of the suspention. im about the same weight as u and run medium on my rtx without a porblem. ive also had my shocks revalved and a fusion front spring made a huge differance in the ride. the upgrade kit ur talking about is a new front torque arem and link. he prolly complaied that he didnt want his link breaking like they do on the 07s and got the kit that makes it like an 08 which is stronger but still not perfect.

thanks teret. I'll be checking that pivot. The fusion front spring, that is replacing the coil spring over the front skid shock?

yes on the spring. its like a 130/210 rate spring and the stock is a 140. helps out with front bottoming and also makes it a little softer in small stutters. the biggest differance was the shock revalve tho. any good shock revalver should be able to look at it and come up with a decent progessive valve stack. a good idea is to bring it to some one who does ski doo shocks. seeing how they use the same shocks as yamaha but differnt valving.
