Sat on buddys GT WOW! Pics added, YES GT pics!

Just got back from checking out my buddys apex GT, what a GREAT looking sled! You GT guys are gonna' be very happy! Only thing I might nitpick.....harder to acess anything than RX sleds!(sparkplugs,checking oil,ect..) But still VERY cool!You can check this sled for yourself at the Muni ride! Neither one of us can wait! Jay

My dealer said mine should of been here yesterday, but called today and still no sled. He said any day now. Yamaha appently did things differently this year and never assigned any one VIN numbers for the snow check sleds. They are sending them all a little at time and you just assign the VIN to who ever wants to picks their's up first.

I think Rotax is correct. My dealer sold the dealership a few months ago after I ordered my Attak. Last week the new dealer called me and asked what I had ordered because he only had records showing I paid $300.00 down for an 06 Yamaha. He had an RTX, GT and both color Attaks setting in Chicago at the time and wanted to know which one I wanted. Seeing the picture of that RTX posted yesterday got me second guessing my choice again

If all your riding is groomed trails, then get the GT. I love the red on the RTX except the colour of flames on the hood, I'm not crazy about and the silver on the seat. But the rest of it is awesome, especially the red windshield and red A-Arms. The only thing is I'm not sure if the RTX is going to corner as good as the GT without having any springs on the front. I bet the RTX has a little more roll in the center. I wish I would had a chance to ride one.

Hey Welter don't feel to bad, I live in Chicago and I haven't got mine yet. My dealer said he has something coming this week but he wasn't sure if it was a GT or not.

I just talked to my dealer out in MN and he said mine is now scheduled for sometime in october. If they aren't assigned a vin number then he atleast assigned one to me. He hasn't gotten any GT's in yet.

Ya know, I'm sitting here bitching about mine not arriving till November. Then again, if it were already here sitting in my garage, I'd be bitching that it wasn't snowing. HA HA !!!!

I didn't think I was going to like the black tunnel, but after seeing these pics, I like what I see.

How about some pics from the side to see the rear skid and a close up of the steering collar ?
