Last weekend in Laramie Wyoming High Altitude Yamaha out of Cheyenne Wyo raced a 05 Vector in the hillcross. The Vector has a great hole shot and runs very strong. A hill cross is very demanding of any sled since the race is so rough, but the Vector handled it very well. 2nd in qualifyiing heat and place 4th in the finals with a very bad start, the drive was a sleep when the flag went up but worked his way from 10th to 4th.
I was very impressed!
Buy the way, the new Artic Cat M7 blew it's direct drive system up on the very same coarse.

What class did the Vector run in?
Heard the same story about the M7 - the diamond drive blew out on a hard landing right??

The Vector ran in the 600 stock class, 120hp class.
The M7 blew the drive on the landing but to be fair it was ahead when it happened and the sled was a long track mountain sled. If they took the time they should have put a 144 under it. The sled did run good but fell apart. :ORC
