schmidt bros air intake

True, maybe find a free flowing air filter inside an SB modified box. I was looking at the cool air grills you can buy for the hood, I bet that would drive cool air right to the airbox but I might be afraid of fine powder snow.
I have a front vent on my sled that lets air straight into the engine compartment. I'm not worry about the fine snow because my vent has pre filter on it. The air modules have pre filter and are backed with an oiled filter so no snow should be getting in the air box.

That's cool, can you take a picture of your hood vent, not sure which one to get. I expect to get my modules any day not, I was not sure how they were built but sounds like more than just a cap if they have an oiled filter behind them.

This is the vent that I have.

I saw that one, looks nice, any pic of it installed on your sled?

Heres the best pic I could find of it without snow all over it.

I went with white because it looks like its stock.

Cool setup, the front grill is smaller than I thought on the sled, I think I will get a black one to enhance the vents under the headlight. Off thread topic but what are you running for your steering post and riser? Is that an OFT with a PowerMadd adjustable riser and a riser block on top of that or stock steering plus riser? The angle you have is similar to what I now have and it feels ok in the garage, some complain about the "sway" of the bars with a stock steering setup with riser on top, do you feel that way?

I made my own steering relocate and those are ROX adjustable risers. I guess I don't really notice the swing much because I have had the sled for 4 years now. Since I put the relocate on it has flatten the swing out a bit but not that much.
