MPI exhaust slip on question

I have the Schmidt Bros. cold air intake mod and am wondering if I purchase a MPI exhaust if I will need a fuel programmer/mapper? Any help would be awesome.....

I would say yes based on the fact of how lean the sleds run these days, but dont know for sure

Slipon alone, no fuel required....add airbox mods and I would say yes, add one....air and exhaust combined can lean things out....you could try it without a fuel controller, you'll probably get some popping...you won't blow up your sled or anything, 4 strokes are more forgiving than 2 strokes...but I would recommend a fuel controller to make it safe and for best performance.

KHEXX - Try calling and ask Chris if he uses a fuel programmer/map with his set up which includes his air intake and his exhaust. If he does not, the price that you pay for the added fuel programmer & MPI exhaust may be very close to his actual nytro dual exhaust set up. I'm not knocking or advising against the fuel programmer, but am curious if your decision or interest is based on dollars alone.
