sea foam

what is seafoam ? how does it work? where is it sold at?

Seafoam is a additive to help with carbon build up on your pistons and rings. You can buy it at most local auto parts stores. Alot of people on here have started to use it and it appears to be helping with oil loss that some people have reported experiencing. I have not lost any oil yet but my machine only has 1000 miles on it. If I discover a problem with oil loss then I will try it next year.

I will also be trying after seeing the posts. Thanks for the heads up guys for those who gave it a whirl

I am trying it as we speak. Only have 100 miles so far and can't say if it has done anything. It is available at NAPA auto parts. I paid $5.95 fo a 16 oz. can. :-o

Did you use enough? I thought you were supposed to use 2oz's per gallon of gas? If you bought a 16 oz bottle you were a bit short.

:? I've yet to find it here, where is it manufactured

It's made in Minnesota by Sea Foam sales company. US phone number is (952) 938-4811. Doesn't Canada have a sister company to the US's NAPA auto parts? I found it there today for $4.99 a can US funds.

:( Most the cool or good stuff just doesn't make it's way up here, maybe it's too cold to come this way LaLaLa . Thanks for your help ;)! One of the drivers from a trucking company we use is getting me a couple of cans ;)!

I just used it last week in my Tahoe in the gas tank. I don't know how much the mileage improved, but I went around 90 more miles on the tank of gas, and it continued to improve throughout trip. 26 gallon tank, 90 more gallons somewhere around 2 more miles per gallon. I also changed my oil and fuel filter at the same time, so not sure which was the cause of the improvement, surely not the oil, and my truck has 40K miles, so the fuel filter couldn't have been to clogged????????????
