Sound right??
The Seafoam Deep Creep is in a spray can. The regular Seafoam is in a can that can be poured out of. Therefore if you are adding Seafoam to the gas tank buy the pourable bottle not the Deep Creep.
I am not sure why you would want to let it sit for an hour and then re-start? I just add Seafoam to the tank and then shake the sled back and forth to mix it with the gas. Then I let the sled idle until thouroghly warm which should be plenty long enough for the treated gas to be run through the entire fuel system. Then I shut it off for the summer. No re-starting required.

curious why everybody is so afraid to run machines dry. I have so much equiptment I cant remember what I have half the time. have always ran everything dry and never had a problem. I'm sure additives help in the tank, but hard to believe the small quantity in system is good to go because of a little additive. this fuel now absorbs water right out of atmosphere and seperates to corn syrup on the bottom. god knows what the put in it to make it blend. every piece of equipt I work on I tilt to a corner and liquivac low spot. cornsyrup, give it to the ole lady to bake with. I figure with this new gas, buy it and burn it in something quick

Going to get my oil changed and definitely run the SeaFoam in the gas tank. Pour it in, let it idle until the SeaFoam is coming out and let it sit for the summer periodically starting it up. Thanks for all the info everyone. Going to try it in my other toy as well ~ have a monster mudmashing lifted Club Car golfcart for summer camping season. Plenty of designated trails to ride it on with mud holes etc... It's fun but I can't wait until winter returns again! Already missing it.

HMMM? Dave's right, the Deep Creep is a spray lubricant, like WD 40, or blaster. I use it on rusty stuff. Works great.
Never used it in a motor, but I bet it wouldn't hurt it any.

Sorry guys, YES BOWLS not BOWELS!
Any way, simple, put in the gas, run the motor til its through everything and no need to start til next season, but if you want to start OK, from fuel varnish stand point, BUT let the fueding begin on the condensation and acidity issues LOL

I like to start them monthly. But they need to be warmed up good (hot running boards). I used to take off the belt and just go through the rpms, but now I'll just have my son pick up the rear and run the track a little, where they are stored. Never have any start up issues. But our club grass drags are early October, so they need to be ready by then anyway.

I store mine on my snowmobile lifts all summer, not sure its necessary but it never hurts and its much easier to move around the garage when needed.

This weekend I started my 16.5 hp briggs powered lawn tractor, and the 3.5 hp push mower easily without even adding stabil last fall.
E10 gas is not anywhere near as bad as some would like to believe.

Gas with Ethonal is not very good. Your gas mileage goes down and it can cause your engine light to come on in your vehicle. Everytime I put that type of gas in my engine light comes on. I add a can of seafoam and it goes off! Not many gas stations left without it though. On another note, I have used stabil in the past and gunked up my carburator over storage. I have been using Seafoam now for at least 5 years and it is the greatest product out there for carbs and other uses!! Use it, you will love it!! I just dumped some into an old mini bike carb that sat for along time and wouldn't run. Started right up!! Great stuff!!

I always keep the back end of the sled off the ground, just to prevent the moisture seeping up through the concrete from dry-rotting the rubber. I also keep the tension on the track, every sled I have owned over the past 35 years, whenever I loosened up the track that's when I had cracking problems when they were re-tightened. Ever since I don't do that anymore, no cracking at all - been doing it for over 20 years with no problems.
Just my thoughts on the subject.

Yup, Seafoam is the greatest!! I had a horse once who was not very energetic, I gave him an enema with 2 gallons of seafoam, you should see him run now!!! My dog is getting a little lazy, he might need to seafoam treatment.
