Perhaps the shafts are sealed and never need greasing? My '99 F-150 is like that, it doesnt have a single grease fitting on it. Id personally prefer to have grease fittings, at least that way I know the joints and well-lubricated.
Im doubting this is the case however and that seems like a pretty dumb idea on Yamaha's part. Im sure a lot of people will just not grease the shafts and decide to not worry about it as long as the suspension moves. My '90 Phazer didnt have fittings and when I got it the suspension was froze up solid. So I took apart the suspension and put fittings in it, that was the best mod you could have ever made to tha sled.
Im betting you guys are right though, the '06s will have fittings because you KNOW people will complain to Yamaha about it. They have ever right to. If I bought a new sled and it didnt have fittings, you can bet that Id be calling up Yamaha myself and complaining to the biggest bigshot they would let me talk to. Heck, I probably even ask for the number for the offices in Iwata and ask for the engineer who designed the rear suspension so I could tell him myself what a dumb idea it is.
I expect better from Yamaha, I really do...

Hebi, there is some truth to that. My wife's car doesn't have any zerks either. But its not constantly in the snow either. I'd rather see the zerks, but I guess everyone will find out this season.
