Season ender ends on a sour note

This was in the kawarthas. There was a bit of a rise in the trail that made it hard to see the hole until you were close to it.
 
You can see where someone else managed to navigate that washout. It would be good if more people would stop and mark those holes with marker tape!

Yeah, after we marked it with the branch we squeezed through on the one side of it. It was closer to get home by continuing on our way then by turning around.
 
At least he's alright, I hate to see that happen. Looks like a natural water way or a swamp run off, obviously moving water coming from somewhere. I would talk to the local snowmobile club about instaling a culvert there to avoid future incidents

Looks like there is one there, probably just needs to be bigger, especially if this is a problem area?
 
How are the bruises on his thighs where he hit the handlebars? I did that a few years ago, my son flew right over one of those at 55 and I plugged it at 30.
