Has anybody made a seat frame for a Nytro? I am looking for some ideas. I have my exhaust gone under tunnel and have removed the stock exhaust heat shield. I am wondering how far I need to spread the load for the seat so I don't buckle my tunnel?
Skinz makes a good looking seat, might give ya an idea

I cut my stock seat frame/muffler shroud up to support the seat. I think it looks good and it was free. If you are interested I can get a pic up.

Nikolai does a pretty good job documenting a seat frame he fabricated for his sled in his 2010 AK sled projects (page 6)
of this forum From the looks of it he used the skinz seat frame as a templete and made changes to it so that it would work better for his application.

I ended up buying a skinz and I love it but they are spendy. My original plan was to use two stock rear bumpers and cut them off with one of the 90 bends left and have it come up from the tunnel at the rear of the seat then bend the 90 degree's and follow the bottom of the seat untill connecting back to the tunnel up front. Then just connect them with a couple pieces of flat stock and bolt the original seat mount brackets to the new tube. I just know that you do need to support the seat not just mount the tabs. This was just the idea I had came up with before nikolai was nice enough to buy a tubing bender.
Don't know if this idea will be of any help but I thought maybe it could help get the ideas rolling but cutting the stock mount back does look good and is easy as well.

I like what you guys have done, but since I closed in my tunnel from the top the stock heat shield/seat mount holes do not line up with the tabs, about 1/8" off.

I don't have any under tunnel pics, but it's just like a few others on here. I used a Vector header and a cherry bomb with a baffle and a turn out.
