I am looking at an 08 RS Vector but would like some input on the ability to take my 9 year old daughter along with me. I am looking at a Seat Jack that fits the Apex (should work since it is the same chassis) and a Kimpex adjustable backrest.
Has anyone used either of these on their Apex sleds and if so how did they work out?
What can I expect to pay for a seat Jack? (I have no idea)

Seat jack is great, i put one on my viper 136, and will be buying one for the attak this fall yet....
not an answer for a full grown adult, but works great for the kids.

The Seat Jack is a good seat for the money.I paid about $500.You would find it good for your kid.You could also add some hand warmers and be Dad # 1.Best of luck.

get a venture instead if your buying a new sled anyway
or she will freeze her hands and outgrow it sooner otherwise.

I purchased a seat jack last year and I like it. My only complaint was I had to drill 4 holes in my 2007 Attak GT. Oh, and the directions weren't that great either. finally, I like having the option of taking it off when riding alone and it doesn't take up any seat space.

In one year the child will be on her own. Buy her a Phazer instead, then you can ride single too! More fun!
I wonder if the RS Venture footrests would fit?

used to have old universal kimpex back rest back in the day....definitely NOT a substitute for the seat jack....spend the extra bucks....besides, you'll be able to sell the seat jack when you're done....no one will likely want the kimpex back rest....just MHO.

I actually agree with the guy who said to buy the Venture. I sure wish Yammie would make a 2-up with the 4 holer motor. I would buy that in a second. You get the 136" track and you can carry a passenger when you want to.

By the way, I do have 2 Seat Jacks, and the handles are WAY too low for the kids to reach them. Other than that they work great. I would definitely add heaters to the grips though. Of have the kid use those handwarmers in her mits.
