Hey folks,
I'm prepping my brand new nytro for riding, and really need a taller seat. SO far in my searches I've found Mountain Mod's select-a-ride seat wich is +3", WRP and Skinz seats which are +2. General feedback is that the Skinz seat fit and quality is not standard, so I can scratch that off the list, but what of WRP. They're half the price of the $700 mountain mod seat... for an extra $350, is the MM really that much better?
Other than that, I've got a Lake Effect riser, OFT Relocate, tunnel blockoff, kill/roll over valve, yamaheater, exhaust donuts, a Star kit and rear shock revalve/rebuild, roest plate and IP vent, SBR Stage 1 clutch, brake line extension and belt guard all in the works. Is there anything else that I should look into for this season?
On a side note, I've got a Garmin eTrex 30 that I find very hard to read at trail speeds. Can anyone make any GPS recommendations (with all the necessary functionality for trail riding)? Something with a bigger screen, perhaps color, and weather resistant.
Thanks all, and here's to hoping for a good winter!

I've got the WRP seat and it is great. Don't see where they justify sucha price difference. I would highly recommend the WRP.

X2 on the WRP seat. I got the plus 2" and love it. As far as GPS for a cheap but very functional one I like the Garmin Nuvi. Get the waterproof one I think its a 200 or 210 model. Works great around $210 on e bay. Load with maps and a mount all for $300

I have the Garmin Montana 650T gps mounted horizontally and it works great. Large 4 inch screen.

I have the WRP kit on both my RTX and XTX. I am only 5'7" and it would be one of my first upgrades. The new foam is harder, but I have not found it uncomfortable. Just take your time on the install and pick up a cheap pneumatic stapler from Harbor Freight with 1/4" long staples. PM me if you need install help.

i have the mountain mod seat and am very happy with it, it can be set up for stiff or soft, has a trunk and looks awesome. can always sell stock seat to make up some of the difference.
my main reason was missing the trunk space, i like having a trunk but i like it a lot better than the wrp
