Here is a pic, looks like it has rubbed and torn on tunnel. Didn't notice until had a lot of snow dust build up. Anyone else have this issue. Was there a bulletin on this about the tunnel rivits causing this issue? I will take the seat off soon and get a better look. Sled is garaged all the time so seat is not rotted. Rode in serious low temps below zero but still should of been fine.

Very common. I've got major scuffing on all the seats (3) that I've used on my Attak. It rubs on the edge of the tunnel . My Mountain Mod has extra material there and it still rubbed through. Take it off and patch it with some heavy vinyl.

That happened to my 07 RTX. My local upholstery dude matched up the vinyl, unstitched & replaced the lower panel on the seat. Charged me $60 bucks, looked like new again & has never ripped since.

There is enough material to unstaple, stretch and restaple so the tear is not visible.

I did that when my seat developed the same problem.

Ooops, that was my old Poo that I did that to!!!
On the RTX, the upholstery guy just sewed a thicker more durable piece around the length of the bottom that went about 1-2 inches up! lol The cost for that was around $40ish.
Never had a problem since ;)!

I put fome o. The I side of my tunnel where it rubs and some one the top to cant see it . It is cause by the seat moving side to side this will stop it

There is a wear protector made of dense foam right from the factory, but if it has fallen off, then nothing to protect vinal.I always make sure the wear pads are in place when removing the seat.

there is a TY advertiser on here that can make a you a new seat for under 200 bucks... check with mr sled

I have had two Apex's that have had this problem. I had it stretched once or twice. When that failed I had the panel beneath the stripe completely replaced with thicker material. The seat continued to rip. Eventually I gave up. Over the miles it will rip again. I would see that area fill with snow/ice that would cause it to rip further.

Whoa, do you mean a new seat or a new seat cover for under $200?

Why so secretive if we are talking about TY advertiser???
