riding yesterday I noticed a clicking sound, coming from the clutch area, sounded like a cog missing on the belt. The sound was only noticable at a low speed. I took the belt off to inspect it and it is fine. I noticed on the secondary two ramp pads were gone. What would cause this, and could this be my sound? Another question I have is how much free play, rotation is normal on this secondary? I can rotate it back and forth a good three-four inches before the track starts to turn. Any help would be greatly appreciated as shops are too costly. 2004 warrior with reverse

the pads or buttons in the secondary may have worn or broken off. buy 3 from the dealer, they are pricey but last a long time. dont buy aftermarket they are junk. the play back and forth is normal, moreso with reverse. check chain tension, tighten finger tight and back out one quarter turn.
