Any idea what's going to happen? I heard they dropped the weight on the viper to 480 dry and bumped the Hp to 150 with a better exhaust system and higher compression pistons

There going to need more than a new exhaust and compression bump to get 150 hp from the three holer, unless they up the cc's.

I predict they launch a new motor that is actually designed around the cat pro-cross chassis to solidify the engine supply agreement for a few more years - then if we are lucky a versatile, 100% Yamaha chassis for that engine by 2018 so they can walk away from the manufacturing portion of their agreement with AC.

Allot can be done with the ignition/fuel curve but realistically the motor made 136-138 while in the Nytro. It makes a good 10HP less in the Cat/Viper chassis and most can be pointed at the exhaust and the ignition designed by AC.
