So no worries putting the cover on with the guards...good to hear. Thanks!!

First off...congrats on your new anniversary model, awesome sled. For your choice of handguards on your new ride, I decided to go with the Rox on my SW. I've been running the Powemadd's on the Apex's for years and was looking for better coverage for added warmth. Obviously you can get additional parts to add on to the Powermadd's but I've been very happy with the Rox. They're not going to be as toasty as gauntlets but they still do a nice job of blocking the wind.
Last season Rox added the Design Your Own feature as a choice so you can come up with your own design to perfectly match your sled which I thought was pretty cool:

Here's a pic of my SW with the Rox and my wife's Apex with the Powermadd's:

Precisely why I switch mine off at night.I do wonder if the LED kits get kinda annoying lighting up the windshield from the inside though?

Would it be as bad with the ultra-low windshield that will be on my 18 RTX LE??

Shouldn't make a difference. With my mid height, it illuminates the dash. I guess it reminds me of driving my car at night with the dome light on.Would it be as bad with the ultra-low windshield that will be on my 18 RTX LE??

LOL...exactly what I was picturing too!! Ya, I wouldn't want that at night..that's why if I were to get the LED's I'd have to install it like you did so I could turn them off when I wanted if I didn't like the feel/look at night with regard to the illumination of the dash. Thank you Mighty for the important info and tips on this set-up.

at first yes....but quickly became a benefit from my perspective...not in our eyes ...more like a glow....and I would never do without them at night...really lights up the terrain directly in front and to the sides (turns)

I have a set of powermadd sentinel with LEDs off my nytro, I have upgraded to a 2017 sidewinder and want to install them. Where has everyone put the switch for the LEDs? Beside the heated seat switch?I have them on my Viper and they are better then the Yamaha/AC ones...the mirrors are big and you can actually see out of them to a point and they do make a difference on the cold days. You need the Hayes brake bracket and the LED will work...I have a buddy who wired them on his sidewinder.
