Sentinel Powermadd Handguards for Sidewinder

I gotta say....the Doo gauntlets are great if it is the last option and it's super cold, but I just don't like not being able to get my hands out quick and while standing it's not so comfortable. Just a bit too confining.
I absolutely feel the Sentinels work..... Ever get hit on the back of the hand with a branch? They also deflect just enough wind to allow me to ride without gloves from time to time.
I do wonder if the LED kits get kinda annoying lighting up the windshield from the inside though?

Or have a snow chunk get kicked up by a bud in front of you, and it whacks your hand like a bullet...ya that isn't pleasant. So yes, I would imagine the guards/sentinels would work nicely for instances like that. If anybody has some more clear pictures of the sentinels, feel free to post em up.

Just get the DOO gauntlets and be done .
That is funny because the pic I posted is on my Gaspe trip and I had my Doo gauntlets on my sled with the powermadd hand guards and mirrors.

I have had the Powermadd , and now prefer the ROX .

Have the LED Sentinels. They are for impact protection much more so than for cold protection. They look and work great. The mirrors are perfect - much better than the older smaller mirrors. They do light up the back of my sport windshield.

Where were you in that picture? Were you guys actually on the Gaspe Peninsula in that picture? Or still on the way to the peninsula? That's a gorgeous picture!!!

Wow, just looked at the ROX...I think I like them better. Was looking at the white/red/black ones...they may match perfect.
I'm trying to see your avatar picture...do you have that color on yours Sledroll? Would you be able to post a picture of yours on your sled when you get a chance?? Thanks for the tip on the ROX brand also.

Maybe a stupid question...but will the cover fit on the sled with the Handguards mounted???

Definitely not a stupid question.....I'm wondering the same thing.

That pic was on an unmarked local trail that ran between trail 5. We were on our way to Amqui from New Richmond. We were one of the first guys on that trail that day. All the trails were freshly groomed the night before and the riding was as good as I have ever seen. This would be on the south east section of the Gaspe Peninsula.

Thank you for the explanation...and very easy to understand/and picture. Just gorgeous Scenery for sure!!

lol thanks for the vote of confidence...I'm trying to picture getting the cover on over those guards... ?? Hopefully somebody chimes in later.

Looks like we both ordered the same 2018 Sidewinder!!!

I love my sentinel's with the led's. They provide a bit of extra warmth but do a much much better job if you add the optional sentinel armor to them.

In this pic you can see them with the mirrors, led's and armor. As you can see that armor makes the guard a ton larger to block the wind. Note the armor does block a bit of the mirror but causes no issues with seeing sleds in it.

Here you can kinda see how the armor blocks the mirror a bit.

Led's at night are very bright.

No problem to put the cover! You can also ride big windshield whit the handguard on this chassis. :-)

Great Pictures. Thank You for posting and sharing them. I wish they made the Sentinels in the Red/White/Black color scheme of the 50th anniversary Winder. They only seem to have the Red/Black ones...which I'm not that crazy about, at least not in the pictures anyway. Yours match perfectly and look very sharp.
