Playing with setup today and found a setup on the 2020 Viper that the Tuner 3s really like. Front end 1.13 inches of sag, skid 1.25 inches of sag, limiter in third hole, 6" shaper inside and 4" carbide outside.

Running aggressively with about 2.5 inches of fresh snow over hardpack and literally couldn't make them push, even after shortening the limiter.

This could be the year that the Viper brings home the shiny plastic!!!

If you have truly solved the Tuner issues, it is an accomplishment equivalent to answering the riddle of the Sphinx, or finding the Golden Fleece, or discovering the lost continent of Atlantis. The only thing I have found that has made the Tuners perform are a set of Snow Trackers, and that is only because the ski just acts as a platform for the Trackers to mount on.

Shortening the limiter transfers more weight to the skis and reduces any lift, which is one way to keep skis planted with reduced push. Can make for harder steering, depending on ski.

The Snow Trackers seem to be the answer that everyone agrees with. I do not run them and I can not confirm there handling characteristics. Unfortunately I can say be very careful when backing out of a trailer and down the ramp. My brother is running them on His Winder with Tuners and they seem to hook onto anything raised when in reverse. When looking at the design it would appear, a slight modification to the back end of the blade would prevent reverse issues.

Note that this is a 2020 which has better steering manners to begin with. Also note that there is a 6" shaper on the inside. Other than that it took a lot of playing with suspension setup. Out of the box there was way too much sag in the skid.
