shimming ski

did a quick search and didnt find anything on shimming the skis to eliminate darting,how do you do this mod

does this mod work as good as say,installing dooly carbides

For me, time and time again it is the biggest answer to major darting issues. Even my Simmons skis dart if I take the shim out.

And I learned something more for myself last weekend. The stock yammie stopper is very soft and will compress over time, this then requires more shim or new or more dense stoppers.
