I am looking for a set of shock covers for my fox floats was wondering if anyone had any suggestions would like to protect them as much as possible since they cost so much

I use the hard plastic fox guards In the Yamaha accessory catalogue they seem to work just fine

I haver seen really cool neoprene Fox Float shock covers, also....

I have heard that regular shock covers can scratch the piston and cause the floats to leak. (However I can not prove this) And it is only suggested to use the hard plastic ones such as these....

Worst thing you can put on IMO dirt sits in there and scratches the #*$&@ out of your shocks.

I'm not sure if its true with the floats, but the guy who does my shocks says that shock covers are a bad idea. They hold heat in and your shocks will fade faster as they get warmer. Just food for thought.
