What's wrong with what you have now? But yes, Ohlins are an excellent shock. I have something in the works for my rear susp. for next year.

I have talked to several people who say it is a big improvement with upgraded shocks on the front end. I just wanted to know if the Ohlins were the best choice or should I look at something else.
Ohlins are sweeeeet, but if you have the coin, spring for the Elka's
I'm going to try the Fox Float air shocks.

Boston, if I remember correctly, you were always looking to improve the ride of your sled. If so, you should focus on replace the rear shocks first.

Suisse, my rearend is all taken care of. I am now working on the frontend. Who rebuilds the Ohlins? I have heard not many people work on them.

Hey Dana, maybe you should wait until Power has ridden on the Fox Float shocks. They may be better than the Ohlins.
Thats what I'm hoping Indy. Plus the weight reduction w/ no springs

Didn't Cat use the Fox float shocks on a couple of stock sleds last season? If so, any feedback on their performance from friends? I also remember reading an article in SnowTech that was pretty positive on the float shock performance.
