Anyone try this clutch kit? Seems pretty cool and not too expensive, wondering how it would work on a Nytro XTX.
Just wondering what people think.

I was thinking about getting a shockwave.. But as the helix angle is steeper than the oem helix that was not the fix for me.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish with installing a shockwave?
What are you looking for?
That info will help people on here guide you to the right choice..

I was just looking to try something different. Ted Jannetty put one on my buddies apex with MPI stage 2. I saw it and it seem different and was just wondering if it would work good on my nytro.
Any input is greatly appreciated
I was thinking about just ordering a Ulmer kit and being done with it.
Thanks again

The shockwave helixs, from what I read, are great for tuning. But once you get it dialed in you might as well just go buy a regular helix. I've heard the shockwave's are hard on the secondary clutch buttons. I personally haven't used one yet, but I do have one sitting on the shelf. I've read lots of turbo guys using these over on snowest.

I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger on the 180 kit, not sure if I want to buy a supercharger for my Camaro or the Nytro, decisions decisions

With a 180 kit you should be fine running your oem helix.
I am gonna try out the Yamaha 39 degree MTX helix this year.
