I'd like to think I know what I'm doing also. Been riding sleds for 26 years and have never worn thru a set of Hyfax. My 94' Ski doo Mach 1 had over 6,000 miles on the hyfax when I pulled out the skid and installed a M10 and the Hyfax still had a lot of life to them. I have over 6,000 miles on my 07' Attak and I'm only on the second set of Hyfax. The first set wore fairly quickly at first but after loosening up the track it seemed to stop wearing but I had to change them out as the screw at the front came out when my wife was riding it and it ripped the hyfax up pretty well. That's the only reason I'm on my second set and they have over 4,000 miles and still look almost new.
