Years ago I used to sponsor this dragster and was thinking of droping in RX1 with turbo and see how fast it goes
With 114 HP Honda Vfour it will run in the low 11 sec 1/4 mile
No gears and close to 400 HP should be scary and will need to check on rules for shoot and tires etc.
Let me know what you guys think and thought be nice to build some more for summer use of RX1 motor!
Put Yamaha all down it and go scare myself.
Frame built by Todd Engineering and there is another one of these dragters with old Kawasaki bore out with turbo and nitrous.
I know the ideas from the guys on this site are always fun

Low 11's with a 114hp motor?! A turbo'd Yami engine would be insane!! Do it! ......It would be good advertising for you and a whole lotta fun!

Yup no gears and with over drive clutches used these days should be able to still get enough top end.

Yes. Do it! I will see you at the sand drags, unfortunatally not till next year.
Did the guy with the sand rail that was going to replace the two 700 2 strokes with 2 turboed rx motors get his going, he would be helpful if so.
No not yet I should update the pic's, but I have both motors installed with turbo's and my drive train redone to handle the torque. I have to finish the exhaust, intercoller and piping on second motor all the cooling system and Gas tank and fuel delevery. I had Target (store) aproach us and they want our land, so to make a long story short we will be moving over the next month and I need to setup my garage at the new house. I just hope to get her running this year and modifing the carbor fiber body next winter. -Ed

a friend of mine has one with the big 28 rs from jeff and it is starting to come ( to much horse power breaking jack shafts for example. let me know of your e mail and i will send you the new pic with the rx1 engine that was last year with the 925 doo it ran 9.50's at 144mph.
