I have 3 windshields that I switch out. The small clear FX one, Peakline black windshield, and the OEM medium one I cut down and painted.

I'm looking for ideas on what to do over the summer. I might strip the blue and go with black.

Post up pics of your custom windshield.

Looks good!! Love the yami de sled one.
I have a black Chrome one like your second pic. But I don't have the brackets. Going to get rid of it if your interested in a 4th one.

SOB I like that Peakline windshield! If you're not using it take my money$$!! LOL

I added LED strips on the sides and two little red eyes for the cobra. You can like it or hate it but I have never seen another one like it if you want to be different. Reminds me of most of the new cars today with the 'eyebrows' over the headlights.

I would love to trade my clear FX one for a blue one :)

I was actually thinking of selling the peakline earlier this winter but luckily I came to my senses.

I might buy the Cobra medium as a cold weather shield - its a little bigger but not Yamaha medium windshield big! Found this pic on the internet.

OK if you get delirious again let me know! ahahahaha! I have the Yamaha tall windshield for extreme cold and it rocks. Look like a grandpa? Maybe. But when its -25 and colder it is just plain necessary.

Paint the backside of your clear shield. It's easy and looks good.

I painted the back side of the blue one. It worked well but its starting to chip. I used Krylon Fusion and let it dry for 7 days. I'll strip the paint and redo it this summer.

Hey guys. Just a heads up from a serious RC Car/truck enthusiast you can buy really durable hobby paint for lexan clear bodies. When painted from inside out they look fantastic and you could really do a one off custom job. Many colors and designs. Just a thought. Flipped a few of mine a half billion times with no chips or flakes in paint. Not that anyone's planning on flipping a bunch of times. image.jpg
