Anyone else have a problem of the track wearing on the side?? I don't know if this is from the ice build up and the track hits it scraping the sides or something else. The track is perfectly lined up so I don't see any reason why it would rub on the sides of the snowmobile..... I see some white threads coming through.

I have had the same problem from the first ride on my mtx 153... looks like crap but I can't seem to find where it is rubbing.

I have the same thing on my track. I figure it's just the ice buildup inside the tunnel rubbing against the track as well.

its normal..all my sleds have done this..my sled did it after a couple hundred miles. Its from cornering-maybe there was a dirt pile in that corner..or rocks,ice..its normal wear. Theres not much rubber covering those thread..it'll go forever..when your studs pull through and it starts to rip-thats a problem.

Normal, always have this with new sleds. It won't cause any issues with the track. Think it's ice build up.

Take a propane torch and burn the (cords), usually solves the problem, they melt right in place, most tracks have some cord right on the outer edges and with any rub at all this will happen.
