I bought a used 07 Attak GT and found the left side pin, located below the gas tank cap, which holds the side panel in place has been broken off. This is our 4th Apex type machine and I've never heard of this before. Does anyone know if there is a fix or do you have to buy a new tank cover which I really don't want to go there?

I know JB weld doesn't work and velcro held it nicely for a season. I was going to drill it and use another dzus fastener there but sled is gone now.
