Ya was trying to get away from doing that lol...not hard but trying to save time ...Does it come out the chain case or clutch side and do i have to take the frame brace off also....Thanks

Unless you have 15000 km on it you likely could just clean it out and repack and it will get you through the season.

Changing that bearing - once the chain case is opened up (which is a chore in itself) is fairly simple. Pull all the gears and chain off the chain case side. Heat up the housing on the clutch side - tap the shaft towards the secondary side and it comes right out Of the housing (like the previous comments). Shop press the bearing off the shaft and you are done.

Note: the aluminum housings on these sleds are not As thick as a real Yamaha. Just a little heat and it expands easily to allow the bearing to come out.
