I currently ride an 08 RTX. Have flipped rubbers and check toe out. Still darts. I am looking at new skis no help reduce the darting and inside ski lift. I think the simmons flexi's would be a good choice. I do not need an agressive ski. I typically ride on hard ice packed trails around here in Buffalo. Your comments on the Flexi's would be great. I also looked at the Curve XS and C&A razors, they seem over agressive for my riding style. I've looked at the C&A Pro Trail X Skis also.

Thanks

i have a pair of Simmons flex skis on my 08 rtx. I love them hands down. made a world of difference. any kind of trail i thought it excelled on. High speed cornering Great, slow speed manuvering was a little hard to steer but i got used to that mostly due to the dual keel ski. I am a pretty agressive rider and i absolutley love them. They totally took away the darting, and took away the tracking, unless your following the certain year revs that had those type of skis. but they got in a little hot water because simmons had those patented first so they had to change the type of skis.

I give 5 outta 5 for those skis i defanitley reccomend them.

If you can afford the Curves, go for them...new design looks great. I've heard great reviews.

Precisions are also good for darting.

Heard the C&A Razors are pretty aggressive and require extra effort to turn them, however their Trail X ski looks similar with rounder rails which should make it easier turning, plus they are cheaper too.

A lot of info here on TY. Just do a search on any brand ski and you'll have a lot of reading to do...enough till the snow flies! :jump:

i have tried all of the above skis and many others, I recomend Arrows by kimpex. they track like simmons, are about 1lb lighter each and dont have the slow speed steering effort of the simmons.

check them out. anyone who sells kimpex can get you a set.
