Has anyone switched from Simmons Gen II to the Gen III? I am courious if the trail and parking lot steering effort is less with the Gen III's. Thanks

Do you get much pivot in the ski's? I'm talking like the up down movement when your ski's are off the ground. I installed mine today and with the OEM rubber saddle's, I don't get much pivot.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but I put a set of berstrom triple points on my stock skis at the end of last season and thought they were great.
Over the summer looking at threads like this one with such good reviews made me think of picking up a set of Gen III's. Anyone know if the bergstrom"s will fit on the Gen III"s.

All good stuff! Thanks for the feedback. I have 2 sets of Gen I on trail sleds and love them. My Gen II's are on my 08 Nytro. The work great in the powder and on trail but are hard to steer when going slow. I had heard the Gen III's were easier to steer and from what I am hearing that is true. Thanks.

I have the gen III's and they are a world of difference, They help float as well as steer easier.
