I've been boondocking in really deep snow lately and the heavy front tends to dive into the snow alot more than my old Pol WT. The Pol came with wider skis so I did some research on the new Simmons Wide ski. It is 10" wide but the dual carbides are positioned the same width as the standard Simmons ski. I love Simmons skis for tracking on packed trails so this may be a worthwhile purchase. I'm interested in any opinions out there...

I feel they would work great. Yamaha canada has 9 and 11 inch skins 69. and 72. dollars If you can get the simmons but at 450$ the skins are alot cheaper but no double carbides.
