#1- Make sure the sled is on the ground. .59 is the max toe out.. I once checked my 97 V-max because I noticed it coming to a stop so quickly after I let off the gas.. It was 2 1/2" off.. Made the adjustment. I went with .250 toe out. And gained 10 mph on top end. Hmmmmmmm.. Good luck.. P.S. Make sure you adjust both sides equally so you keep the bars even.

Your new skiis may have brought out the problem. You may need to fiddle with the middle shock,or play with the limiter strap if the adjustment doesn't help... But getting those skiis closer to center will be a good starting point.

I always pull the front of my skis together by hand and then measure the toe. I set it to around 1/4" toe out total.
Typically this, when including the slop lets the skis move somewhere between 1/4" to 1/2" (or a little more) toe out.
Any toe in is unstable and makes the sled more darty, too much toe out makes the steering a little unpredictable (feels like sloppy steering).

I just bought an alignment tool from Maxperf. It hooks into the spindles. I haven't used it yet, supposebly Zeros the alignment out.

I don't know why they specify these wierd measurements. Why not .5, 0r .6, instead of .59.
It reminds me of a voltage on an electronic schematic when I was in the service. It said it should be 5.3785 volts, aproximately.
