Does anyone know if the warrior ski is the same as on 03 RX1's? The keel is 1" wide and 1 1/4 tall. The ski is 5 1/4 wide. This seems to be very simular to the C&A Pro. Also the wear rod is laid inside a skallow track, probably for alignment. What would I gain with the C&A Pro?
Secondly if I stayed with the original ski and went with the Woody dually the base of the dually is 1 1/2' wide to sit on the 1" keel. Now the effective keel goes to 1 1/2" high and 1 1/4 wide. This seems radical!! Comments are appreciated.

Forget Dooly carbides, they won't last and will cause problems. If a dooly set up worked as well as they claim, Skidoo would have used it since the mid80's. Yes, Skidoo had about the same design way back then, and it didn't live up to th promises.

You'll gain razor sharp turning with the C&A Pro's. The trail ski with a slight rocker design isn't near as aggressive, and won't float any better than the stock ski.

I've got 7" wide Pros and love them! With 96 studs, I run a Type2 Bergstrom Skegs 6" carbide, these things will outlast anything! Really!

For the scoop on Doolys and Bergies, read through www.bergstromskegs.com. There's tons of pics on there that show what doolies look like after use, it's not pretty.

If you call Bergstom, you'll talk to Scott, tell him John Guest sent ya. He'll give you the honest truth about anything you ask, he's a great guy. There are quite a few Tyers who are sold on his stuff, especially the folks who put on a couple thousand miles a winter and don't like changing carbides all the time! Good luck![/quote]

The general concensus last year for those who got the ski-doo precision skis was that they worked great. Not only do they steer very precisely but they make the machine feel like you have lowered the center of gravity slightly. I found that I needed to set the ski alignment with less toe out and also more precisely as you could tell it was off slightly with these skis. I also usually go through a set of good carbides a year where I ride and all four bars should go another full year -- a pleasant surprise.

John,

I've got the Precisions on mine, and yes, I seem to wear through carbides quite often. Does he offer these for the Precision, not just the Yammie skis?
