Excellent video!
I've taken it a step further with using the runner mount as the reference point.
After all, it's what's tracking on the trail.
Note the ratchet straps holding the handle bars straight. Very light tension. No need to crank them tight. Just enough to hold them straight.
I've also found 1/16 - 1/8 toe out works best for handling and darting reduction.
1/16 - 1/8 static toe out, when moving down the trail, accounting for a little ski flex and bushing play, the toe out is probably really close to the desired 1/4 total toe out.
Ski alignment is the biggest factor in handling & performance.
Stock set ups handle pretty nice if alignment & toe is spot on.
Then, we season to taste.
For S's and G's I thought I'd check my alignment today. It was set by dealer when I bought it last spring. Wayyy of. Lol. Handle bars crooked and too much toe out. All good now. If your dealer sets yours up you might want to give it a quick check.
