I am new to the fourm and to snowmobiles for that matter. I have a 09 nytro that I want to buy the piloit ski's for. I am a trail rider that does not really ride that hard.. I am really looking to get ride of the darting. I know there is a ton of info on other skies but the skidoo ski's are $200 vs the simmions or c&a. Any info would be great.

before you go spend that money, Dartless plates work great and are alot less money. If your only trying to get rid of darting, this is the fix.
If you want to get rid of darting and have a more agressive ski, get Arrow skis.

I just installed 5.7 Pilot skis on my Nytro as well.
Here is a link discussing Pilot skis.

I bought my skis on e-bay for around $160 and my ski rubbers from slydog for around 17$ I am running 6" woody's in the center and 4" woody's on the outside.
I haven't had it on the trail with the Pilots. But I am pretty sure that if you have the toe set correct, the skis work well on the trails. atleast that seems to be the general consensus.
However, if darting is all you are trying to cure, have you made sure your ski rubber is installed the right direction?? Have you tried shimming the skis? Have you checked your toe in setting? There are quite a few things that may fix your darting issue. How about a more aggressive carbide/shaper bar setup?

The Arrow skis BTV mentions are made by Kimpex in case you need to refine your searching.

I have a set of the older precision skis on my nytro and a set of pilots on our apex. Both do a great job on the sleds there on. Ask me which one I like better and I'd say?????? All I know there way better then stock skis. Either of these will work well for you.
