So I'm heading north tonight and me and a buddy decided to change the sliders on my nytro, to make a long story short he was using a hammer and screw driver to try and hit the sliders back, well he ended up going through the slider and gouging the rail, I sanded the gouged spot so it wasn't so rough but will this affect anything?

You'll be fine...but maybe smooth the gouge with a file, grinder or sandpaper. It'll then prevent the new sliders from catching.

X2 Blend the gouge completely out using a file and sandpaper. It is imperative to remove any stress riser areas to prevent future cracking.Grimm said:You'll be fine...but maybe smooth the gouge with a file, grinder or sandpaper. It'll then prevent the new sliders from catching.
Other than that don't sweat it!
