Skid Swap and Stretch

I'm currently running a 05 RX1 with Bender rear mount turbo, 121 mono with Pioneer 6.5 spring and revalve. Much, much better than stock.

I'm considering an upgrade. Leaning towards a ZX2, if I stay 121. Have been reading swap posts for several days and it seems that the guys who stretched the 121 to 136 with the ZX2 are hitting the rear heat exchanger with studs.

Lots of good info on Polaris, Cat and Doo swaps. One guy went to a Crossfire and is very happy.

Does anyone have any experience with a 2007 F1000 stock skid stretched to 136? Are shocks rebuildable, and is it too soft for an 05 RX1's weight?

Thanks for any info.

I hit my rear heat exchanger with studs all the time. I put Tubing in and put an old slider on it and the problem is gone. I stand it right up now no problem. That kind of power 136 is good. want mine to go 144. You get off the line way better with a bigger foot print. Top speed not much slower because you get a better track angel.
