How accurate are the specs from Yamaha? They say the length of the XTX is 119.8". Could someone check the specs of last years model and measure theirs and see how accurate it is? I am wondering if it will fit in a 10 foot trailer or if I need to get a 12 footer. Thanks

There wasn't an XTX last year to compare to...I guess you'll have to trust what Yamaha prints or wait until they show up to check one out.

I know that there was no xtx last year. I meant compare the mtx, rtx, nytro, whatever, to what yamaha said the length was so I have an idea of how accurate it is. Do they measure tip of ski to the rear bar?
well, I have an 07 attak, yamaha says length is 118.1, it does fit in a 10 ft enclosed flip top bear cat trailer, not sure if there is room for the extra inch, it will be really close!!! i have to have the ski tips right up into the beak of the capper.

If you already have a 10 footer I would keep it as you could likely cram it in there. If you are choosing between a 10 and 12 footer go with the 12. I don't think you'll be sorry plus the resale (with sleds going longer) will likely be better.

Read in a TY Review that Yamaha had the XTX in a 10' clam and it did fit. I also have a attak that fits fine in a 10' triton.
