Riding is still pretty good in the BC interior. 8" of fresh last friday! There is still 10+ feet of base up high - we can't touch dirt with our avi probes yet!
Unfortunately I ended the day by ripping my track. :o|

Who's idea was it to flip off mother nature like that? I think your track issue was just bad Karma (kidding).

Curious about your Phazer ... did you replace the tunnel entirely or is that just a tunnel extension? If the latter, I didn't know CR made them for the Phazer. Care to share some of the particulars on that tunnel?

Solid pics! Was it the maverick? If so best thing to happen that day most likely, what are you gonna replace it with? narrow up a better track?

I bought the sled pretty much as you see it this fall. The previous owner had money and the sled built for him and wasn't super knowledgeable about details. It has gone through a few stages and was a guinea pig for many of the mods.
As it sits now, it is a complete CR tunnel with a 151 tail on it. Afaik, CR installed it and is phazer specific. It is possible they never or no longer put it into production. The runnning boards are phazer prototypes from ratsled.
Underneath is an (older I believe) nytro 153 skid with extensions and 2-8" wheels. The track is a stock 2011 nytro 163 track at full 15" width. The bulkheads have been clearanced slightly near the drivers to accommodate this.
Most nytro owners really dislike the stock track, but it seemed to work rather well under the phazer. I was considering changing it anyway so I am not overly heartbroken that it blew. I only wish it didn't happen until the end of the season. If you're wondering, the reason it blew was because the limiter straps broke and the rails stabbed a window.
The previous owner included the original phazer skid with extensions and a 151 track, so I may just throw that on to finish up the season.

Thanks for the info greenthumb.

That is pretty cool that you have the ability to run a 15" track ... the tunnel and boards definitely set your sled apart from other Phazers.

Hope you get back on the last of the BC snow soon so you can resume your snow machine art ;)! Think you can do the TY logo on one of those hillsides?
