Man I cleaned the carbs twice now on my 07 rs venture. I don't think I did a good job the first time and the second time when I put them in and started her up it ran great almost like new. I put it up on the stand and gave her some throttle to run some of the fresh gas through her and it ran great. I started it up again a few days later and ran great as well. Yesterday I wanted to move it out of my garage so my friend and I could work on his argo and it ran like poop again. Almost like a cylinder was missing this is getting annoying. Is it possible there is still crap in my tank and if so whats the best way to clean it out? Or what else could it be?

My guess is you fouled a plug.

If you didn't pull your tank off and rinse it out thats probably the source of your problem...JUNK in the tank keeps coming back up in your carbs, clean your carbs out AGAIN and your TANK also as Metallicat mentioned, change your plugs and add fresh gas & SEAFOAM in your gas you'll be fine.

A few of my friends that just got into 4 strokes this year are having the same problem. Crap gas and not letting the sled warm up. Every time someone comes over to their house, they have to let people listen to the sleds. I think it's funny because, I use to be the same way. You have to let them run and warm up.

My rule of thumb is if you start it, don't shut it off until the heat exchangers are very warm to the touch! Otherwise you're asking for a fouled plug, and nobody wants to change a plug on these (especially for us 2008+ owners).

I cleaned my carbs in fall. Started it 3 weeks later and it didn't seem right. again! I used (what I believed was) a full tank of 100% gas and stabil during the prior season and always run for about 10 minutes so it should be warm enough. So I drained my bowls and called it quits.
Just fired the "twins" up and they ran almost perfectly (one's on a lift)!! I have no idea what gives? Just to be safe I then ran 12 oz of Seafoam and will probably continue to do so.
