Me and my friend are making my shed in to a sled shed,Its big enough for two sleds to be worked on at the same time,But there is no electricity. There are wires and such in there but my dad thinks the line is dead underground. He said he will run an extension cord out there so we have electricity when we work out there and what not. Does anyone have any good/cheap ideas to heat it and also lets see some of your guys sled shops to give us an idea on what to do,Post pictures. Thanks guys!

I us a force air propane heater. It heats a 2 car garage fast and keeps it warm.

Good for you! I spend more time in my little "shop" then in the house. I heat mine with an old time oil drip furnace. Maybe a wall one from a mobile home salvage yard?
Good luck to you, and have fun. The warmer it is, the better your work will be. No one thinks straight and takes their time while freezing, lol. Mike.

Try a Big Buddy heater. You can hook it to a bulk propane tank, it has a fan that will work on 110v or D cells & it has an oxygen shut off sensor. I use one to heat my 4 place inline and it gets to 70 when it's below 10 out. You need to insulate the walls and get some fresh air in. Maybe thru soffit vents.
Other option is a wall mount propane that is ventless or vent type. Either way you need to get fresh air intake.
;)!

Rich Kay, showoff. ;)! just kidding. That place looks awesome. I just use a Mr. Heater. Mounts right on top of the bulk Propane tank. Just be carefull, you don't melt anything too close. lol I have a 2 1/2 car garage, so I have to back my truck out, to work on the sled. Have fun.
