I use dryer sheets. Stick them in all areas of sled. I've heard mice do not like the 'fresh' smell and I have not had issues since I have done this.

Kitty litter, is the best. Does 2 things, keeps the rodents away and takes the moisture out from inside your trailer when temps change from day to night. Just give the litter a stir once a month.

Dryer sheets don't work that well. I know someone who used them in their camper and as was said earlier they lined their nest with them.

I have never had luck with dryer sheets or mothballs. They only make my stuff smell like Grandma's house.
So unless the furry little critters are worried about being swatted with a Bingo Wing they don't seem to care.
