Just noticed a crack in the slide rail near the front wheel on my 09 Nytro RTX SE.

Anyone else have this happen?

Were there any updates or service buletins that I may have missed?

I have seen this but at the top edge of the rail by the hole only. I'd say after a blown shock chances are higher.

I noticed a crack on each of the slide rails in front of the "YAMAHA DAMPER 2 Part Number: 8GL-47457-00-00"

Hopefully the weld will hold this winter and I can get some new rails for the next.

I cracked the rear of the rails on my '05 Vector. The stock, non-rebuildable shock was garbage but I knew that from the get go. I bought and installed a piggyback rear shock out of the '06 Nytro but it wasn't enough to prevent the bottoming. Basically if you are bottoming a lot, things get beat and break. I learned this the hard way.

Found both of mine cracked on my nytro this year under the steel "U" shaped clip, cover under warranty. Also had a set crack on my Phazer RTX. Had those welded and they did not last 50 miles.
