I know this has been gone threw extensively and I have read threw several if not dozens of threads about skis, but have not seen any comparing these three only and include a poll.

So as you can see I am looking for new skis and have heard plenty of good things about all of these skis, but noting that would really make anyone choose one over the other.

SlyDog - LOVE the way they look and I have seen plenty of people on here using them.

USI - Fins are an interesting idea, but I am not sure how well they work and even more nervous about how well the fins will hold up against the rocks around here and the RR tracks.

C&A - I have heard many good things from the Doo guys, but have no idea of how ell they will work on a Apex and as you can see by the poll I have no clue which ones would be best.

I do mostly Groomed trail riding with some off trail riding when I can(not often around here), but we are also planning on moving to Colorado in a few months so it would be nice the be able to use them here in NY and still have a good ski for the Colorado snow.

It would be amazing if there is someone who has tried them all and I am sure there are a few but weather or not they see this is the problem.

Please only post if you have tried these skis on a Apex/Attak. I did try to post this in the Apex/Attak section, but they do not allow polls in that section.

THANK YOU,

How well did you like them, were they a stock replacement or another aftermarket replacement? How well did you like them, what were the pros and cons?

Thanks everyone,
pure

Not on your list but we have been running C&A Trail X skis for the past couple years on a Nytro & Phazer and love them. I know their not an Apex but figure I would let you know what works great for us.

Thanks for the info Myers!

I know this subject has been discussed excessively, but there must be some people willing to go threw it again. Snows flying and I would like to make the best choice possible...

Also if a Mod has the time, could you change the word skies to skis in the poll question.

Thanks,
pure

P.S. Thanks to everyone who has voted, feel free to add a comment on why you chose them & how well they work.

people are swearing by the 'dartless' plates. these will cost you pennies compared to a $500 set of skis, and will do just about the same thing with your stock skis. something you should consider....unless of course you're made of money :bling :-o

Your not interested in the Pilot ski's at all? Many TYer's run the Pilots and like them alot. I would say do a search on the Pilot skis as well.

The dartless plates are great, totally cured darting.

You forgot my favorite ski though, the new Yamaha MT09 Mountain ski, it's the best ski around that isn't around yet...

I would consider the plates if the past couple of seasons didn't destroy my stock skis.

If someone likes them then of coarse I am interested. I just was trying to narrow down my search so it wasn't like the other threads on here with a million different suggestions and just a few real comparisons.

I haven't heard any info about the MT09 and am a little worried about using a full MT ski when I will be doing a lot of trail riding here in NY and Colorado, at least until I can stretch the apex for MT riding.

I had the Razors on my RX-1 and then put them on the Apex. No darting and corners great.
