Has anyone got a trick to change the needle bearings in the small gears in the chain case?

put the gear in the oven or on a heater/register. throw the bearing into the freezer for minimum 1 hr. they should almost slide together buy hand then. only get one shot so be careful.
taking them out is a dremmel/punch operation. just make sure that you repair any nicks or gouges so that they are smooth before installing the needle bearing.
