smoking banshee

i have a friend with a banshee and he just rebuilt the engine,runs great now,only problem is it smokes real bad,like twice what its suppose to be,the oil-fuel mix is spot on,took it to the dealer and he said it was the crank seal,they changed it and still the same,were just scratching our heads right now,if anyone has a clue,please let me know

is he still running pre-mix in it?

could be the oil pump has failed if they fail like they do on the sleds.

there is no oil pump on those,you have to mix the gas,it is not oil injection

oh, ok. never owned one so i did not know.

could ut be sucking it through the case vent (asuming stock airbox)?

How long did you run it, could it just be oil you dumped in before you put it together ?
Or is is coolant burning ?

If you did not let it warm up at a idle and let it cool completley down and re-torque the head, it could possibly be coolant.
