I had a dealer change exhaust donuts (copper) and Y pipes on 2007 Yamaha Attak.
The smoke starts shortly after it is running and from what I can tell, the smoke is rising from exhaust donut area. It will run for about 30 secs before I start seeing it. I shut it down because it is very hard to tell where exactly the smoke is rising from. It has a distinct smell so I'm sure it's not the standard exhaust smoke or steam.
Anyone experience this? Is there anything that has 'insulation' on it that might be touching the exhaust?
Sled ran fine before getting this done.

If they used any wd-40 or penetrating oil to get the bolts loose, that's probably what you're seeing/smelling. I would just let it idle. it will clear up in a few minutes

nothing in that area that could be getting hurt let it burn for 5-10 mins and if it dont stop then have a look maybe they left a rag in there a little smoke and funny smell is normal after exhaust work in my garage i will run the sled long enough for that to go away so you the consumer dont have the concerns that you have but im sure there is no problem.

Thanks for the confidence.
I did run it in the garage for a while more and seemed to be getting better.

I used never-sieze on the clamp bolts when I re-assmbled the exhaust after changing to copper donuts. After start up the smoke was unreal as the excess was burning off. I admit, there was a moment I began questioning my mechanical ability. lol. Once it ran for a bit it thinned out.
