Need some opinions!! My wife rides a 600 venom. The problem is that after a 100 miles of riding her throttle hand is so sore and cramped she cant ride again for 4-6 weeks. She has small hands so I was wondering what everybody else does for their girls sleds that have small hands. I think the reach is just too far for her thumb. Has anybody tried the sno bunje throttle flare? Any other suggestions?? Thanks for your help.

I use the throttle flair. I cut the top off because I felt it inhibited me to change the position(in,out) of my hand. I like the bottom flair when I am riding hard, I can roll my hand under the bar and still reach the throttle. One thing it does do is make the throttle a little thicker in the standard(middle) position. This might be a downfall for somebody small hands.

How does the bottom flare feel when you are just ridding relaxed. Does it seem to have a smaller reach rather than using the middle of the throttle? It looks to me that the bottom would help relaxe her hand a little bit instead of having to stretch for the middle. She ultimatly needs a shorter throw throttle or a left hand gasser.

I think either the top or bottom flair will help with the reach. I do not use the bottom when I am riding normal. Your hand position would be ackward. I only use the flair on right hand turns so I can roll my hand under the bar and still get to the throttle. The top flair would be more to her liking. I am tring to find a picture of the sled last year, before I cut the flair.

I just got the flare today and I think it will help I hope. We are leaving for Muni tomorrow morn. Maybe we might be doin some extra hot tubbin if it don't work. :) Thanks for your input!!
