wont work the coolers run the length of the boards. would not allow enough snow through to justify the cost.

Recently purchased an Apex Mountain and have purchased the snow eliminators. Had them on a '05 M7 and loved the foot traction. Bought them primarily for that reason. Even with the exchangers under the running boards, the melted snow will have a better place to exit, IMO. While manuevering up a steep mountainside throught the trees the last thing you need is a foot slipping off the boards. It has happened!!!!

Could always put Polaris edge coolers on to get rid of the under board coolers. But would probly have to put a rear cooler in to make up the cooling.

Do a google search for Better Boards. He is making some for the Apex and over on Snowest.com there are some pictures posted. Looks real good even with the coolers still half under them. He does them in raw or powder coated and from my experience the powder coated ones shed snow very well... I should have mine on by the end of the year.

Looks like some good stuff. I e-mailed them to see if they had a picture of an APEX with them installed. If they send me one back I'll post it up.

Better boards do work
Yes they make them for an Apex. You drill out the rivets for the coolers then instal the Better Boards then reinstall the coolers. This still leaves A lot of open area for the snow to fall through. There a pics on Snowest of the mod on another members Apex. Would be a lot of work but worth it in the end. I'm running the RSI traction pegs and I'm NOT real pleased, they aren't wide enough to go from the inside out to the rail which is what they need. I think I'm going to remove them from the tunnel and just go with a straight taper Fabcraft or Vanam tunnel. Either one is 900.00 and worth the weight loss and better traction in my opinion. Hope this was helpful some how...LOL. BB do work just a lot to install them! OH, Niko no they won't work on the inside...I've already measured every way possible to try and make tunnel coolers work on the inside....not an option from my perspective.

That is a NICE look. I am not sure how worthwhile that would be. The openings seem a bit small to be very effective? This would be way less work to install than dumping the stock coolers and going with edge coolers.

I'll let you know how they work out tonight with the install... I will post pictures and how long it takes if I don't forget the camera.
I rode with a guy that has them on his Apex and even though the holes are small, the snow now sits directly on the coolers and it just runs out. Little to no snow on the running boards in the front.
Install will be on a 07 Apex with MCX pump gass turbo.
